Maps are a powerful way to tell stories.
They can trace a route, show patterns of movement and chart change over time.
Program co-ordinator Nathan Etherington dug deep into the archives to put together Maps: The Evolution of Brant County, an exhibit opening on Oct. 20 at Brant County Museum on Charlotte Street.
“I went through the entire collection and realized we have a lot of interesting and unique maps.
“Every time I look at a map, something jumps out at me. I learn something new. They are two-dimensional but there is so much information contained on them.”
